We maintain robust governance processes to systematically review and improve our services. We strongly value the input of our service users and those with lived experience. We facilitate regular governance and co-production forums for patients and families/carers to help us shape our services. We also have a dedicated Lived experience Advisory group for collaboration with former patients and families/carers to support us with service development and improvement.

Quality and safety are embedded within a structured governance framework, with clear oversight at both corporate and service level. This includes the following:

• Reducing restrictive practice meetings

We also maintain regular engagement with regulators and with our commissioners through contract monitoring and quality review meetings. We submit monthly and quarterly NHS reports for Key performance indicators, including clinical outcomes, patient safety metrics and workforce compliance.

Our training is meets regulatory standards and clinical professionals are registered with the relevant regulatory bodies such as the GMC, NMC, HCPC and UKCP.

In addition to statutory regulation and contractual compliance, we participate in national benchmarking and audit activities, and external peer review through Royal College of Psychiatrists’ quality networks, including QNIC (Quality Network for Inpatient CAMHS) and QED (Quality Network for Eating Disorders).
