Ellern Mede Barnet is a 16 bed eating disorder hospital delivering highly specialised care both to children and young people aged 8–18 years and, in a separate eight bed ward, young adults up to 25 who are transitioning from CAMHS, re-joining the community or returning home.
Services at Ellern Mede Barnet are offered both privately and in partnership with public funded health authorities throughout the British Isles as well as internationally.
Recently renovated and conveniently situated within the community the hospital offers a bright and modern environment throughout. There are spacious family, dining and meeting rooms, an outdoor space, a private garden and an onsite “Outstanding” school.

Warwick Road is well served by local buses including numbers 107, 307 and 326 to and from High Barnet underground train station. The station is the terminus of the High Barnet branch of the Northern line and is in Travelcard Zone 5. It is the northernmost station on the Northern line and is situated 10.2 miles (16.4 km) north north-west of Charing Cross. The next station south is Totteridge & Whetstone.
